Refund Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This page sets out our position on refunds and returns for all David Arthur Software products. In short: we do not take direct payments through this website. All paid app purchases are handled by Google Play or the Microsoft Store, and any refunds are governed by their published policies.

1. Free Apps

The following apps are currently free downloads:

  • QuietTime — Free on the Microsoft Store and Google Play.
  • CCTV Converter — Free on the Microsoft Store.

As these apps are free, no purchase is made and no refund is applicable.

2. DuoVox

DuoVox is currently in development. At launch:

  • The free version will be supported by light banner ads — no purchase is made and no refund is applicable.
  • Any paid version will be sold exclusively through Google Play and the Microsoft Store. Refunds will be handled by those platforms under their own published refund policies.

3. Refunds via Google Play

If you purchased an app or in-app product via Google Play, refund requests are handled directly by Google. Full details and the request flow are available in Google Play's official refund policy.

4. Refunds via the Microsoft Store

If you purchased an app or in-app product via the Microsoft Store, refund requests are handled directly by Microsoft. Full details and the request flow are available in the Microsoft Store refund policy.

5. Buy Me a Coffee Tips

If you choose to send us a tip via our Buy Me a Coffee page, that contribution is treated as a voluntary gift, not a purchase. Tips are non-refundable and do not entitle you to any product, service, feature or support. If a tip was sent in error, please contact us at info@davidarthur.app and we will do our best to help on a goodwill basis.

6. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law (including, where relevant, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive). If a paid app is faulty, not as described, or otherwise does not meet the standards required by law, you remain entitled to the remedies provided by that law — usually exercised through the store where you bought the app.

7. Contact

If you have any questions about this policy:

  • General: info@davidarthur.app
  • DuoVox: enquiries@duovox.net

For refund requests on a paid purchase, please go directly to the relevant store (Google Play or Microsoft Store) — we cannot process those refunds on their behalf.
