How It Works

1

Set Your Schedule

Choose separate block times for weekdays and weekends. Pick which days count as weekends to match your routine.

2

Customise

Pick a block screen theme, choose which apps stay accessible, set wind-down warnings, and protect everything with a PIN.

3

Relax

QuietTime runs quietly in the background. When bedtime arrives, the device locks to a beautiful screen. Override anytime if needed.

Features

📅

Flexible Scheduling

Set separate block times for weekdays and weekends. Choose which days count as weekends to match your family's routine.

🔒

PIN-Protected Settings

A 6-digit PIN keeps children from changing settings or disabling the app. All settings require PIN entry.

🎨

5 Animated Themes

Starry Night, Dreamy Clouds, Aquarium, Northern Lights, and Fireflies. The block screen feels friendly rather than frustrating.

📱

Allowed Apps

Choose which apps (phone, clock, calculator, etc.) remain accessible during quiet hours, displayed right on the block screen.

Wind-Down Warnings

Optional notifications before quiet time starts, giving children time to finish what they're doing. Configurable from 1 to 30 minutes.

👥

Parent Controls

Grant extra time for special occasions, temporarily unlock the device, or lock it early when needed — all PIN-protected.

🛑

Emergency Access

Emergency call button always visible on the block screen, plus an optional emergency contact number your child can call during quiet time.

📋

Activity Log

See a clear record of block starts and ends, overrides, time extensions, and settings changes. Everything logged locally on your device.

🔐

Recovery Password

Set a recovery password as a backup in case you forget your PIN. If both are lost, you can clear app data or reinstall to start fresh.

100% Private

Everything stays on your device. No accounts to create, no cloud servers, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. QuietTime never sends data anywhere. Read our Privacy Policy →

Three Lock Levels

Starts with Windows

Optional auto-start ensures quiet hours are always enforced, even after a restart.

Common Questions

QuietTime uses Android's accessibility and overlay permissions to stay on top. Children cannot dismiss or close it without the parent PIN. On Windows, Strict mode locks the entire workstation.

The emergency call button is always visible on the block screen. You can also set an emergency contact number that your child can call during quiet time without needing the PIN.

Yes. The "Grant Extra Time" button on the block screen lets you extend the session by 15, 30, or 60 minutes with your PIN. You can also fully override the lock at any time.

No. QuietTime works entirely offline. There are no servers, no accounts, and no cloud sync. Everything runs locally on the device.

You can use your recovery password to reset your PIN. If you've lost both your PIN and recovery password, you'll need to clear the app's data or reinstall — this will remove all settings and schedules. We recommend writing your recovery password down somewhere safe.

No. QuietTime is a one-time purchase. Pay once and it's yours forever — no recurring charges, no premium tiers, no in-app purchases.
